I have been using Stevia for about 10 years now and always buy the 90 to 100 % pure. I have bought from Mood& Mind several times and several products I love all their stuff. The Stevia is very good, not bitter and last's a long time. The last one I bought was in July of 2012 and just now needing more. It is worth the price as you are getting pure. I bought tiny measuring spoons for a smidgen, pinch & a dash. With dash being the largest which is maybe the size of a 1/8 of a tsp. I use 3 level dashes to a gallon of iced tea. It is plenty sweet and very good. I use the smallest one not quite full in a large mug of hot tea. Super good Stevia..

I use it dry in baking, and make a 4 oz liquid using 4 oz distilled water. Use 6 teaspoonsStevia Extract for 4 0z water(just put water in pot stir til clear looking less that a minute) pour into 4 oz bottle with a dropper and keep in fridge) Better than Kal which i swore by as the only one that is good. when baking i use a rounded tsp and call it a cup and it works. I started buying stevia from Mood and Mind a few years ago. I have tried some others online, even one that shipped from Peru I think. This is by far the best Stevia available! I also just purchased the Stevia/Monk fruit blend and love it. I am going to review that as soon as I finish typing this. Also, thanks for the Chuchuhuasi sample. We have used this Stevia product for years and we can't imagine having to be without it. It is used many times every day in our home. We have grown to LOVE it and use it in ways that it never tastes bitter to us. It is fabulous in tea, in milk or yogurt (like puddings or smoothies), or as a substitute for half, or even more, of the sweetener in lots & lots of recipes. My husband tasted homemade iced tea, that was made with completely white sugar, and he wondered what was wrong with it. Even though he is a fussy eater and LOVES sugar, he is used to and now prefers our homemade iced tea sweetened with just stevia. He never tastes that I substitute half or more of the sweetness in everything I make. Converting cake or muffin recipes is a bit of a learning curve, but so worth it. Start by substituting half the sweetener with stevia and add more liquid. (I substitute 1 tsp of stevia for 2 cups of sugar.) Some recipes rise better then others, but you will find ones you absolutely love. Your health and waistline will thank you. (Posted on 2/9/2016)

This was my 2nd time ordering this product. I was extremely pleased with it the first time and will continue to order this product. A bag lasts a very long time. Few companies offer pure stevia extract with no fillers because it's expensive. In the long run, it's worth the cost, as I use 1/4 the amount that I need of the products with fillers. After thorough research on Stevia and being enlightened on the multitude of un-necessary additives, I have finally found 100% pure Stevia extract!!! Don't be fooled by the countless other products out there. And don't forget, use only 1/32nd of a teaspoon equaling full teaspoon of sugar! Amazing how truly real thing is so potent. Even the dust that comes out of the package smells super sweet. This Stevia comes with it's own measuring spoon, its super tiny, but remember its nature's most potent sweetner. Like many stevia users, I was heartbroken when NuNaturals changed their formula and went from delicious to barely tolerable. I tried a few other brands in the meantime, and while Mood and Mind doesn't taste as good as NuNaturals used to, it is far and away better than the other brands I've tried since. The texture is good, too; it's not so sticky that it gets wasted clinging to the shaker bottle I use. You can't beat the price--it was less expensive to order here on the website than from Amazon--and the packaging is good. My micro-scoop was attached to the outside of the bag.

It gets 4 stars because I'm still searching for that perfect sweetness that I know stevia is capable of. This package will last me at least a year; at the end of it, unless the other formulations have gone back to what they were before (I'm not holding my breath), I will happily buy Mood and Mind stevia extract again. I purchased a 4 oz package a while ago. It was wonderful. Being so happy, this time I purchased a pound. The strength is half of what it was in the last batch, and that had been around for a long time. I started using stevia when I lived in Tampa, FL and purchased NuNaturals at my local health food store. I moved north, and had no local health food store so I ordered from them online. I immediately noticed a difference in that I had to use 3-4 times as much for the same sweetness. So I decided to try something different and I am so happy I did. This stevia is completely awesome and the best part, no fillers. I am back to using 1/3 or less tsp. to a serving. Wow, I am so impressed with this! It seems that even the "pure" stevia products out there are ALL being adulterated with something else (and some are GMO products). I was beginning to think that I would not be able to find the real stuff, but WOW! The one "two star" rating is the only review lacking five stars for this product. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it seems to me that the unacknowledged issue in the "two star" rating is that this user tried the same amount as other "Stevias" betraying a faulty assumption that Mood and Mind's product is "like" other stevias. Of course, too much Stevia means "bitter," suggesting what ought to be obvious: this product takes so much less and does so much more for its smaller amount. My Benchmark: KAL Pure Stevia Extract Powder

Most know by now that a tad too much Stevia produces a bitter after taste. With that said, I used the same amount of this stuff and immediately noticed the after taste rendering it unusable to me. My wife, on the other hand thought it was OK. So, she now has enough to last 3-4 years. I've returned to KAL.

Unlike many, I do not like stevia adulterated or “subdued” to mask the “too-much-is-bitter” taste when I inadvertently overdue sweetening. This stevia is gentle but strong; perhaps that is what 90% steviosides means. In any event, especially in cacao, maca, spiced foods and if necessary combined with a bit of ginger root to replace any hint of the licorice some people do not like.

As a diabetic, pure stevia is the best sweetener I can possibly use, since it is entirely organic and wholesome in itself. Stevia can do what agave cannot — hit the sweet button for formerly sugar-addicted people. Also, agave is significantly more active in raising blood sugar; stevia seems to be 100% neutral.

Perhaps like me you have searched for a good, true, reliable, reasonably imperishable stevia crystal. For me, this fills the bill, the price is a little high but worth it; the packet is well constructed and safe against humidity. (Posted on 4/29/2012)

I bought the 1lb pack, having calculated that as it is around 350 times sweeter than sugar, that would give me the equivalent of 350 lbs of sugar for my $40.00.. 11 cents per pound equivalent :^) I then got the calculator out and started my calculations, having bought a kids' 5 ml medicine dispenser. My aim was to create a dilution that would give me 1 mls diluted solution equivalent of 1 tsp of sugar. To achieve this I weighed 10 g of this product and added it to 700 ml water. I use the 5 ml dropper and so 1 ml of solution equals 1 teaspooonful of sugar. Being very much the creative home cook using natural ingredients, I find it works excelptionally well in iced tea, cooked fruit, fruit salad and salad dressings. I bought 15 lbs of organic lemons last year, juiced them,added 1 g Vit C per quart, and froze the juice in ice cube trays. I now take a cube from the bag, add 3 ml of stevia and top up with sparkling water.. cheap, delicious, with almost zero carbs! (Posted on 2/5/2012)
